We are delighted to welcome Adrian Bayley, a community researcher in Torquay who will be talking about ‘The Big Society and Me’.
The Big Society has significant meaning for sustainability practitioners, who have a unique perspective on the issue. Adrian Bayley is based in South Devon and recently completed an MSc in Sustainable Development at the University of Exeter.
His particular research interests are sustainable communities, social enterprise and the Big Society. Adrian will talk about what the Big Society means in general, how it impacts us and what it means for you.
The networking session itself is an informal time for businesses to network and form some useful contacts. You are welcome to join us for the whole session or just drop in. We will always publicise the time of the talk and just ask that you arrive before this so as not to disturb the speaker. Don’t forget to bring along your business cards and business info too.
